There are a few pieces of information we need to determine a proper propeller selection. Once we have this accurate information, a proper calculation can be made to determine your propeller choice(s). Complete the ‘Propeller Sales’ form here to find out what we recommend for your boat.
Depending on the type of boating you do, there may be a propeller that is more suited to help you reach your boating goals. To determine if your existing propeller is your best option, complete the ‘Propeller Sales’ form here.
A stainless prop will typically give you the best possible performance that your boat was designed to offer. You will often see a mile(s) per hour improvement at mid-range and wide open throttle. That would also mean an improvement in fuel efficiency overall.
Any damage to a propeller’s blades, whether bent or actual material missing, can and will affect your overall performance. A prop in a damaged state is unbalanced and therefore, over time, lower unit bearings will wear, seals can fail, oil can be lost, and water ingested resulting in potential major damage to your unit. Keep in mind that if damage is minor, repair cost will be priced according to the extent of damage, making it practical to repair.
